  • Any additional work not included in the original quotation will be charged separately and agreed in advance where possible.

5. Payment Terms

  • Deposits may be required.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may result in additional charges or suspension of further work.

Ownership of materials remains with Chris Quigley Paving until full payment has been received.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients should provide as much notice as possible if cancelling or rescheduling works.

  • We reserve the right to charge for costs incurred if works are cancelled at short notice.

  • We may reschedule works due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide clear access to the work site

  • Ensure boundaries, services, and underground utilities are correctly identified

  • Obtain any required permissions, licences, or planning approvals

  • Remove personal property from the work area prior to commencement

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by failure to meet these responsibilities.

8. Workmanship & Guarantees

  • All work will be carried out with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.

  • Any workmanship guarantee (if offered) applies only to the work carried out, not to natural wear, ground movement, drainage issues, or misuse.

  • Minor cracking, colour variation, or settlement may occur over time and is considered normal.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing site conditions or hidden defects

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to stop work if site conditions are unsafe. Clients must ensure pets, children, and third parties are kept clear of work areas at all times.

11. Website Use
